Scotch-Brite™ Bristle Discs BD-ZB, 115 mm, M14

3 Variations

Available in a range of grades and grits, these Scotch-Brite™ Bristle Discs are designed to out-last and out-perform wire and other abrasive discs. Suited for use on brass, bronze, aluminium, carbon steel, cast iron, stainless steel and other similar metals, each disc contains no wire filaments for improved safety and finish and are manufactured from a ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive blend. The flexible nature of the bristles are designed to need only a light pressure to effectively polish and clean areas and provides more surface contact than wire brushes, whilst the ceramic aluminium oxide abrasive blend fractures frequently and surpasses aluminium oxide abrasives in both cut-rate and durability. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibres.

Features and Benefits
• Molded, abrasive-filled bristles are effective at stripping, deburring, blending, finishing, polishing, cleaning, and removing coatings more effectively, with less pressure than wire brushes

• Specially formulated 3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain provides aggressive cutting and consistent finish quality throughout the life of the disc for perfect results every time
• The flexible nature of the bristles mean that less pressure is required than wire brushes and conform to contours, even on complex parts for ease of use
• The spacing of the bristles makes the products ideally suited for removing various coatings and other high-loading substances
• Contains no wire filaments for maximum user and workpiece safety
• Available in a variety of grades and grits to suit your specific needs
