CNMG 120408-TF INSERT GRADE IC830

CNMG double-sided turning inserts feature an 80° rhombic shape with a positive rake angle that varies along the edge to negative in order to prevent chipping. Specially designed to reduce cratering they are best used for carbon and alloy steel, stainless steel and high temp. alloys. Grade IC830 features a "SUMO TEC" PVD coating for greater heat and wear resistance suiting them to interrupted cut and heavy operations.
