Fitter's Vice, Quick Release

2 Variations

Constructed from S.G. ductile iron, this heavy duty engineer's bench vice comes fitted with an integrated anvil, reinforced body and a quick release mechanism to allow rapid movement of the jaw which saves time on repetitive work. Close grained cast grey iron body and sliding jaw which are machined on all friction surfaces for a smooth action. Fitted with steel handle and main screw.

S.G ductile iron has high resistance to impacts and increased tensile strength, ductility and elongation, whilst also offering impressive wear resistance.

Features and Benefits
• Manufactured from S.G. ductile iron which ensures longevity as well as being resistant to most kinds of impact
• Possesses a safety stop that prevents the body and the slide from becoming separated when in use
• Handle is made from fused steel which functions by bending before the vice itself can become over-stressed to minimise damage to the product
• The quick release mechanism allows for free, swift movement of the slide by disengaging the main screw component
• The anvil is integrated to allow for easy striking of your workpiece if required
• All load-bearing surfaces are fully machined for simple and smooth operation
• Boasts an unbreakable S.G. iron nut that is designed to be replaced when worn down over time

Typical Applications
• Designed for heavy duty use of holding workpieces, making it the ideal product for engineers, fitters, plumbers, mechanics and skilled DIY enthusiasts and hobbyists
