Garden forks types

We have a range of forks available for all your outdoor and gardening needs:
Digging Fork - Standard size fork, usually have a wooden or plastic handle with a square shouldered head and four short sturdy tines. For general garden or farming work
Border Fork - A smaller version of the standard fork, with a shorter and thinner tines. For use for lighter gardening work, weeding in between other plants
Manure Drag Fork - For use removing manure in stables. It is a lightweight fork with longer, sharper, curved tines which allows you to lift out manure and leave the shavings behind
Trenching Fork - Type of garden fork with an elongated narrow head and sharp tines designed specifically for digging narrow trenches, breaking up compacted soil
Weeding Fork - A handheld fork, with shorter and thicker tines. For use for weeding in between other plants in garden borders

Considerations when choosing garden forks

Type - Select the most suitable fork based on your intended task and application. Digging fork are more suitable for turning soil and breaking up clumps, whereas trenching fork are more suited to digging narrow trenches or working in tight spaces
Overall Length - Ensure it is comfortable for your height; shorter forks are more manoeuvrable whilst longer forks offer better leverage
Overall Width - Wider forks are capable of covering more ground and suited to large areas, while narrower forks work well in tight spaces
Handle Type - Consider the handle design to ensure comfort and grip
Tine Material - The choice of tine material impacts overall performance, select from options that include carbon steel, stainless steel, forged steel or carbon manganese steel that offer varying levels of strength, durability and longevity
